Bearing packaging includes inner packaging and outer packaging.

After the bearing is manufactured and inspected to be qualified, it shall be cleaned and antirust treated, and then put into the inner packaging to achieve the purpose of waterproof, moisture-proof, dust-proof, impact proof, maintenance of the quality and accuracy of the bearing, as well as convenient use and sales.

The inner packing of bearing is divided into three categories according to the rust prevention period:

① Short anti rust period packaging: the anti rust period is 3-6 months. It is suitable for bearings that are shipped to the same subscriber in large quantities and put into use in a short time. Through the agreement of both parties, simple packaging shall be adopted on the principle of convenient use. ② General anti rust period packaging: one year anti rust period, suitable for general purpose bearings. ③ Long anti rust period packaging: two years anti rust period, suitable for special and precision bearings.

The bearing inner packing materials include polyethylene plastic cylinder (box), kraft paper, plain and wrinkled polyethylene composite paper, paper box, polyethylene or polyethylene plastic film, nylon fastening belt or plastic woven fastening belt, waterproof high-strength plastic belt, linen bag, etc. The above materials shall be qualified in corrosion resistance test.

Principle requirements of bearing inner packing method:

① Micro bearing: one plastic cylinder for every 10-15 sets of bearings and one paper box (or bag or roll) for every 5-10 plastic cylinders. ② Medium and small bearings: multiple sets of bearings are wrapped with polyethylene film inside, kraft paper or polyethylene composite paper outside; multiple sets of bearings are put into a plastic cylinder (box); single set of bearings are packed with polyethylene film bag, folded or sealed, and then put into a paper box.

③ Large bearings:

After the polyethylene film or polyethylene composite paper is packed in a single set, it is put into a paper box; after the bag mouth is folded in a single set, it is put into a paper box; the single set is put into a special plastic box; the single set is wrapped in three layers: the inner layer is packed with polyethylene film tape or composite paper tape, the middle layer is packed with fastening tape, and the outer layer is packed with waterproof and permeable plastic tape.

④ Oversized bearing:

Single three-layer wrapping (as above); single four layer wrapping: after the above three-layer wrapping, the outermost layer is wrapped with a layer of linen tape.

For separable tapered roller bearings with an outer diameter ≥ 150 mm, polyethylene film shall be padded before the inner and outer components are packed, or the inner and outer components shall be separately packed. For the interchangeable cylindrical roller bearing with the outer diameter ≥ 150 mm, the inner and outer components can be separately packed because the package is easy to be damaged.

General materials and requirements for bearing outer packing are as follows:

① Double corrugated box, the total weight (gross weight) of each box is not more than 25kg, and the outside of the box is bound with plastic packing belt; ② nail plate box (wooden box), the total weight of each box is not more than 30kg, and the outside of the box is bound with blue steel belt; ③ calcium plastic corrugated box, the total weight of each box is not more than 25kg, and the box likes to be bound with plastic packing belt.

When the bearing products with inner packaging are put into the box, the plastic bag or plastic film shall be padded in the box first; if there is a gap in the box, it shall be filled with corrugated paper block, paper scraps and other dry materials.
